The demo unit shows the gearmotors with encoder and spring applied brake. This allows instruction in closed loop feedback position and advanced PLC programming techiniques such as on/off delay circuits. Shown here are the photosensors behind each pitch assembly. There are reflectors mounted to the blade root end at where I wanted 'home' position to be, analgous of faulted state blade position. .
