We were at Windpower 2010 but for proprietary reasons we did not have a booth there this year. Instead we set up private demonstrations at a hotel nearby for a select number of schools with wind programs from technical level to engineering. This clip shows the Allen Bradley PLC program in real time as it operates the wind turbine. The comm cable was hacked and spliced into the slip ring system, run down tower, extended and connected to the laptop. This shows the possibilities of teaching using the smart room patch in which is not just useful using the cameras.
